Gurlurrg = have compassion
narri = He saw
Woŋgo = not
yajiŋiwe = it will be
yanarri = said
Ñanayiyi = Yahweh.
gurlurrg narri means He had compassion, and has three components:
1. gurlurrg = have compassion/be sorry.
…
2. na = see.
3. -rri = Past Tense.
The translation is a well-balanced verse.
In the middle, we have “It will not be/happen” – woŋgo yajiŋiwe.
On the left hand side is narri saw, and on the right hand side is yanarri said.
KJV. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
